Jamieson Plant Hire and Contracting was started in 1978 by proprietor John Jamieson. Starting with smaller local contracts, he managed to build a company that is one of the largest Plant Hire and Contracting firms in South West Scotland.  In 1999 the company moved to their current location and the company has continued to grow to a business that employees over 20 people and satisfies a number of Council and Private contracts.

As a company that has been established for over thirty years we have been involved in works varying from the construction of a new community centre to laying the foundations for new build houses. This vast experience in construction leaves us with the expertise necessary to cater for almost every contracting and constructional need our clients may have.

Our continued investment in plant hire machinery ensures we offer a premium plant hire service with or without an operator and can cater for a variety of needs.
